I have a BSc from the University of Western Ontario where I double majored in Medical Science and Biology. With a keen interest in basic science research, I began my graduate studies at Queen’s University where I most recently converted my MSc into a direct PhD studying how the immune system of patients with ovarian cancer can influence their response to treatment and overall outcomes. My fascination for the beauty in science and its vast complexity has always been present – which is why I’ve developed a love for taking each custom scientific story and communicating it in a unique way. Everything from the conceptualization to the colours used can influence how a scientific illustration is perceived and understood; I have a passion for fine-tuning these many factors to produce the best work which can most effectively communicate the scientific story!
