A project several DTC members (Patrick, Naomi and Molly) participated in is raising funds for Black & Indigenous civil rights initiatives! BLM Cards for Humanity is a collaborative non-profit aimed at addressing inequalities and inequities that Black and Indigenous peoples face in Canada and the US.
Each piece is a memorial for Black and/or Indigenous person whose live has been lost due to racial or other injustices. The project's mission is not only to memorialize each victim, but to also fundraise for organizations that improve the lives of Black & Indigenous peoples.
All proceeds from this project will be donated to the ACLU, BLAC, and IRSS.
